Springfield Armory's SOCOM 16 CQB M1A is power in a small package. It was designed for the shooters that wanted a compact rifle but didn't want to settle for a smaller caliber. Even with all the power in a 7.62 NATO, the shooter can expect less felt recoil and muzzle rise due to the unique design. The SOCOM 16 CQB M1A is almost 10" shorter than the Standard M1A which allows for greater maneuverability. The SOCOM 16 CQB comes with a standard commercial width buffer tube allowing for the use of any AR compatible stock to be used. The AK-style grip also allows for any the grip to be replaced with any standard AK-sytle grip.

The SOCOM 16 CQB also comes with a custom ballistic nylon tactical case which allows for the storage of not only the rifle but also the owner's manual and up to 3 magazines.

About Springfield Armory
