Archer Bell

Optics's are second to none! Built like a tank, but it is as heavy as one. This is not the optic to put on a "lightweight build". I have this on an AR15 with a heavy fluted 16"bbl. At 100 yards all bullets print inside of the illuminated dot. Cristal clear glass that has to be viewed to be believed. I have not had a chance to check the retical at distances to see if my rifle prints according to the prescribed POA. I would like this better if it were a 1X8 but that is stretching it. The cost and weight keep me from giving it 5 stars. If you have the money and want the best 1x5 this is for you!

So far I'm really enjoying this scope. Glass is very clear and the 1X is great. Only issue would be the slight bleeding of the red dot. Not sure if its normal or not. Will shoot some more.

This is a follow up on my previously submitted review. I have had the opportunity to test this scope more completely. I checked the ability to return to zero by turning the adjusting knobs 20 clicks right, down, left, and up. I fired 3 rounds after each adjustment and the last three rounds were grouped where the first three had shot. It returned to the original sighting. I also had the chance to shoot on a range that had available targets out past 800 yards. Ringing a steel 8 inch plate using the 5.56 retical was easy with all rounds hitting the lower half of the plate. Accurate hits past 400 yards were sporadic from a bench rest. This was probably due to the accuracy of the rifle more than the clarity of the glass. In field conditions I doubt that I will be shooting beyond 350 yards. I love the scope but still give it a 4 star rating because of the weight and cost.

The glass in this optic is amazing, it's well built and has great illumination.
