The MFMD-.338-4.0-MDSDX-3/4X24-FDE is a 3D-printed, flow-through suppressor system designed by Strategic Sciences for heavy-hitting .338 caliber rifles. It utilizes an over-the-barrel (reflex) design requiring a massive 3/4x24 thread pitch and at least 4.0 inches of straight barrel clearance behind the shoulder to mount properly. By sliding rearward over the host barrel, the base unit keeps the added length to the overall weapon to an absolute minimum. To achieve full suppression, the extended additive-manufactured "SDX" module latches securely onto the front of that base unit. While exact exterior length, width, and height dimensions are not publicly listed due to its complex, non-cylindrical flow geometry, it provides the extreme internal bore diameter needed to stabilize large .338 Lapua or Norma Magnum projectiles without baffle strikes.
