Surgeon LA 1086 Repeater Action 1086-R-308

Picked one of these 1086 standard bolt face actions up for my father for Christmas, Euro had them in stock and I didnt have to chance the lead time being to late from another manufacture. Surgeon is right up there with the best of them, top brands change constantly because its a popularity contest among shooters when the reality is the best shooters shoot great with whatever they are using. My father sees these rifles I build for people and mentioned he would like to do a build sometime so why not give him one of the best components available to get started. He is a cult follower of the 264win. so with the .473 bolt face of this 1086 I think a 6.5rpm is a modernized beltless version with a longer neck that should get longer barrel life and may peak his interest.
