got to use a theta 5-25x56 in Afghanistan from a dutch special boat units marksmans rifle mounted to my sig dmr in 308,this is about as good as an optic gets ,by far the best glass and rugged as a leupold,i hit 7 targets in the hindu kush region over 700 yds distant ,recorded each hit in my log book 7 less Taliban bomb makers to worry about

A friend came over with about 6 high end scopes w/ the purpose of trying out different tripod setups. After adding my scopes to the collection we had a dozen different top end scopes to compare from NF Beast to S&B 5x45 and everything in between. We both agreed none came close to the Tangent Theta. It wasn’t even close. We were thinking quality of glass at the time but now that I have had it for a while I think it is the most functional scope I have as well. The simple zero lock is just one nice feature...can’t say enough good and nothing bad...worth every penny and then some...

Have never had an issue with it. Cannot beat the glass and turrets. Tracks perfectly. Built like a tank (even compared to Nightforce). Noticeably clearer than other top end scopes (Schmidt and Bender, Nightforce ATACR, Kahles K525i, etc.). All are great scopes, but nothing is quite the Tangent Theta. While the Gen 3XR has more holdover has marks and is much closer to the Kahles SKMR 3, the Gen 2XR reticle has never let me down. Will try to post a review on YouTube if I can.

Haven't seen a scope that remotely compares...Maybe I could of I wanted to spend 2k more on a Hensoldt but no thanks...
