The Taurus Judge Home Defender is a bigger version of one of Taurus's most popular handguns, and is optimized for home defense. The barrel has been extended to a full 13-inches, allowing projectiles to achieve greater terminal velocity. An added fore-grip makes the Judge Home Defender perform more like a pistol-gripped shotgun or carbine, and a set of blast-deflectors protects the user from the hot gasses escaping the cylinder gap. Other augmentations include a top mounted picatinny rail for optics, and an under barrel picatinny rail for lights/lasers.
