The mounting ring is thin, allowing a slight grip on the objective bell. The cover falls off under recoil after every 20 rounds or so. The cover is well made and with some gaffer tape will probably work out.

Far superior to the Vortex defender flip caps. And the sunshade still works perfect with the adaptor ring. Great covers!

I would have preferred that they just opened 90 degrees. Then protects against rain and sun without getting wet or seen. However, very robust. Is warmly recomended
