TenPoint’s Viper 430 is supercharged version of the best-selling Viper S400 platform, offering better speed, accuracy, and a slimmer profile. Measuring in at a slim 6.5”, this crossbow can send bolts downrange at 430 feet per second – 30 feet per second faster than its predecessor – and delivers 100-yard nock-breaking accuracy. The Viper 430’s rifle-like accuracy is largely thanks to the S1 Trigger, a 2-stage zero-creep design with a roller sear system that provides a crisp, consistent 3.5 lb pull. Accuracy is further enhanced by the included RangeMaster 100 Scope, which utilizes a combination of a glass-etched arrow-drop compensation reticle and fully multicoated lenses to deliver extreme downrange accuracy. The RangeMaster 100 Scope mounts to the Viper 430 with newly designed Scope Struts that increase strength by 80% to ensure a solid interface between the optic and crossbow for “bulletproof” in-the-field durability. The optic-mounting dovetail’s length has also been increased, accommodating a wider range of optics and optic adjustment options. Other features of the Viper 430 include the innovative ACUslide cocking/de-cocking mechanism. This system allows the shooter to silently cock/un-cock the crossbow by cranking the ACUslide’s handle, and the entire process can be paused at any time. In addition, the Viper 430 ships with 3 Pro Elite 400 Carbon Arrows, a String Stop System, a Sentry Bow Hanger, and a Quiver.
