With both eyes open, the dominant eye naturally sees the bright amber fiber-optic triangle tip against the target - line up the triangle tip on the target, pull the trigger, and the shot is there without any deliberate reticle search or focus adjustment. The Trijicon AccuPoint TR25-C-200091 amber triangle is the preferred illumination color for shooters whose vision finds warm amber more immediately visible than green against certain hunting backgrounds.
The 1-6x24 scope true 1x keeps the carbine or hunting rifle running naturally at close range - both eyes open, full situational awareness, instinctive pointing with the BAC system. When the situation calls for a longer, more precise shot, 6x gives the shooter the magnification to place it accurately at distances where 1x or even 4x would require more estimation than is comfortable.
