Trijicon
The Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-12.5x42 MIL-Dot configuration is the precision-capable, lightweight hunting and tactical scope for shooters who work in MIL-based measurement systems and need the ranging, holdover, and follow-up shot reference capability that a MIL-dot reticle provides - without carrying the weight and bulk that larger objective configurations add to a serious backcountry or long-range hunting setup.
The illuminated reticle scope 2.5-12.5x42 MIL-dot crosshair gives shooters who push to the top of the magnification range the practical tools to determine target distance, estimate target size, compensate for bullet drop, and reference follow-up shot corrections at extended distances. For hunters and tactical shooters who have trained in MIL-based systems and want a scope that works with that training rather than around it, the MIL-dot configuration delivers the correct reticle in a compact, versatile package. The green fiber-optic center dot provides a battery-free, illuminated aiming reference that makes MIL holdovers immediately usable in any lighting condition.
The Trijicon hunting scope 2.5-12.5x42, with a 42mm objective, keeps the overall system weight manageable for backcountry hunters who count every ounce on serious expeditions, the weight savings over larger objective configurations add up over every day of a demanding hunt. The auto adjusting scope fiber optic illumination system reads available ambient light and adjusts the green dot brightness automatically without any batteries or manual input required.

To use a riflescope with your firearm, you’ll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith’s skills will be needed for proper installation.
