The 1x to 8x magnification adds two new upper levels to the VCOG lineup that allow more precise shots at longer ranges, while the 28mm objective lens delivers a brighter sight picture over the 24mm objective on earlier 1-6x VCOG models.
The Trijicon VCOG C18-C-2400003 first focal plane MRAD Reticle Crosshair Reticle Segmented Circle Cross-Dot gives MRAD-trained carbine and DMR operators the intuitive close-range segmented circle acquisition alongside the precise crosshair dot for accurate extended range shots - with correct MRAD subtension values maintained across the complete magnification range. Toolless turrets with .1 MRAD click values deliver audible and tactile feedback for confident field adjustments.
The Trijicon VCOG 1-8x28 C18-C-2400003 is built from forged 7075-T6 and military-grade aluminum alloys, making the scope nearly indestructible. Like all VCOGs, the 1-8x28 features a battle-tested integral thumbscrew scope mount for placement on any Picatinny rail-equipped rifle - no rings or additional hardware required. Eleven illumination settings are powered by a single AA battery. Waterproof to 66 feet. Night vision compatible.
