Trijicon’s Q-LOC Quick Release Cantilever Mount for the VCOG Scope offers a high degree of versatility to the most discerning users. This proprietary design also allows for one-handed mounting, and multiple recoil lugs ensure total rail engagement as well as secure retention under heavy, repeated recoil. Other features of the Q-LOC mount include a compact circular design to reduce snag-hazards on loose clothing/equipment, and precision cut dimensions allows for compatibility on MIL-STD 1913 picatinny rails, NATO rails, non-mil spec rails, and even damaged rails. In addition, the Q-LOC Quick Release Cantilever Mount sits slightly higher to provide a proper cheek weld and eye alignment on AR platforms, and is suitable for most clip-on night vision/thermal devices.
