I am a older guy whose vision is not what it use to be, I bought this to put on a CZ455 17hmr for squirrel hunting . The side focus, a higher end option on this reasonably priced scope was just what I needed to clear up my target and get my groups back in a dime. It only took 5 shots to line this scope up , the glass had excellent clarity and the side focus is great. The windage and elevation adjustments were a little soft but they held their zero great and my groups were consistent. I would recommend this product to anyone looking a inexpensive scope with high end features and glass. Actually ordered another one yesterday to put on a 22mag I liked it so much.

Super FAST Shipping and a great price on this Vortex. It was well packed and arrived perfect. All mounted, bore sighted and ready for sight in at the Range. I mounted this on my Henry 223 Long Ranger Express. I now have 5 Vortex scopes and all have held zero with excellent glass. Not sure why Vortex discontinued this model but glad Eurooptics had it in stock. Thanks Eurooptics for your fine efficient service!

Bought this for a 10/22 build because it has a parallax adjustment, 1” tube, 12X and was $179. I have 4 other Vortex scopes in all price ranges up to $1500 and this is a bargain for all of its features. Good clear glass, good eye relief and adjustments seem precise. The crosshairs are THICK and completely cover a 1” bullseye at 100 yds, but this can be helpful as one reviewer stated for older eyes.

Scope was fine except for some scuffs from before or during shipping that doesn't affect use at all, really won't be able to thoroughly test it until it cools off this fall but with the factory warranty everything should be good.

Such a great little scope for the price. Really a shame they decided to discontinue this model. Mounted on my AR 350 legend. Pefect size and fit for hunting.

Not sure why VORTEX discontinued this model as it was a flagship product for them at one time.
I don't "over-scope" a gun. This is a simple but feature rich optic that will achieve anything asked of it for hunting distances under 500 yards. I own 3 of these. This product in 3-12x42, and two each 4-16x42. The are mounted on two Brownings (243 / 300WSM) and a Sauer in 270. All shoot under 1/2 MOA, and under 1 MOA at 200 yards.

Great scope and glass. Got to put on my bull barreled 17. A little overkill I know but kills squirrels and rabbits out to 100 yds. As usual Vortex is the best but thats only my humble opinion.

Tiny duplex style reticle with too thick cross hair, clicks on adjustment knobs way too soft, image dark, tunnel view like looking through a toilet paper roll. Used it one time and sold it.
