I sold my Bushnell Fusion 1 mile because I wasn’t happy with the clarity, it’s size & weight on my last sheep hunt. I needed a new binocular with laser range finder capabilities in a smaller package and better customer service. The new Vortex Fury 5000 Gen II fit the bill. Everything I needed packed into a quality brand of optics. Edge to edge clarity and low light visibility. Vortex customer service is top notch. Always answering my emails in a timely manner and it’s a third of the price of the euro glass! Besides the quality of the Fury Gen II, you can’t beat the Vortex lifetime-no-fault warranty! I highly recommend them!!!

Have been very happy with the fury HD genII. We have been using it along with the Swarovski range finder. The Swarovski is a bit better glass but will not range as far as the vortex. 2000 yds is as far as I have gone so far and this is where the Swarovski falls out. We range an 18 inch wide silhouette I put it on a tripod because I can’t hold steady at this distance. It is one hell of a bargain and well worth it. Once we can find a spot to shoot 2500 I will add to the review on our target. I have an airport marker at 3754 yards from my back yard and have no issue ranging it so I see 5000 as reality

They work great have pretty good clarity, they are heavier then I expected. I’m pleased with them it was a good purchase in my opinion.

I purchased this item by mistake as i wanted the AB version. So I returned it but Vortex always offers great products and I really appreciate the veteran discount offered by Vortex/Europtic.
Reordering the correct version.

Glass is clear, very easy operation. Ranged a building at 3900 yards off a rest and steel plates out to 1000 yards with ease just standing. Excited to try it on some critters

Great binos! Great glass! The rangefinder is fantastic! Took these on a prairie dog shoot and could easily range everything we needed to. Very fast to acquire targets and ranges. Not sure what the glass grade is, but very close to Vortex Razor grade. Take a hard look at the AB model, kinda wish I would have went with the AB's. Regardless, a GREAT set of rangefinding binos!

I had been looking at this for a while for competition shooting. I am glad I purchased the Fury HD 5000 Grn II. The glass is extremely clear and the rangefinder works as advertised. I can't wait to have a nice day to take it out to the range.
