Purchased this as a used Demo unit. I carried it for 4 years running security at Rough Creek Lodge in Texas. The optic is very compact and light. The optics are fantastic. Sharp clear images with very little color distortion. Range estimation is simple with the reticle. I used it at night a great deal and the optic really bring out detail in dark conditions. The only con would be you must have a steady had at this power. I usually braced it off a vehicle, tree building etc.

Like every Vortex product that I have this unit is extremely well built, ruggedized but does have a bit of weighty feel to it. Just testing now but so far I like the features and the optics are clear and no apparent issues in sub zero temps
