Description

Designed specifically for the AR platform, the 3x Spitfire combines an impressive array of high-performance features into a rugged, ultra-compact package. When fast target acquisition in close- to medium-range shooting applications is a priority, the Spitfire excels. Laced with advanced features, the sophisticated prism-based design allows for a more compact optical system without sacrificing optical quality. The EBR-556B is a hybrid reticle with BDC drop subtensions that match the popular 556 cartridge etched directly on the prism to assure consistent point-of-aim at all times with selectable red/green illumination of five intensity levels to match specific conditions.

This is the perfect scope for an Ar15. It has a reticle that is clearly visible and useable even if the battery is dead or completely removed. I have been able to get this scope zeroed in to where it is :dead on:, and I have absolute confidence in using it. Great job Vortex. This is my second Vortex scope. I love your products. Purchased one of these for my Springfield Armory Saint Victor 5.56 pistol. Absolutely love it. Great clear optical quality. Elevation marks out to 500 yards are spot on. Zeroed the pistol at 100 yards. Was able to use the reticle to smack a life size silhouette at 500 yards and that was with a 7.5" barrel pistol. Only thing that is a lil annoying is the tether for the wind age and elevation knobs. Tether is a lil tight and the wind age was a pain to remove to zero. All in all, great quality and as always from EuroOptics, excellent customer service and awesome prices!!

Really like this scope for mid range AR builds. Reticle is clear and easy to use. Brightness settings are great and make the reticle show up very crisply. Great scope especially for the price.
