Description

The Walther PPQ M2 .40 S&W features Tenifer coated slide and barrel, front and rear slide serrations, ambidextrous slide stop, Walther's ergonomic grip, ambidextrous magazine release button, 5.6 trigger pull, checkered trigger guard, and a custom accessory rail. The 5" barrel offers a longer sight radius and in increase in muzzle velocity.

The PPQ M2 is a true breakthrough in ergonomics for self-defense pistols. The sculpted grip meshes smoothly into the hand. The trigger is the finest ever on a polymer, striker-fired handgun. The styling is elegant and trim. The leader in self-defense handguns just took another step forward with the PPQ M2.

Whether you’re looking to purchase a handgun to sit in your nightstand or to ride your hip, the Walther PPQ should be a major contender. The Walther PPQ M2 is semi-automatic striker-fired handgun available in 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, and .22 LR. The frame of the Walther PPQ is made from polymer allowing for a sculpted ergonomic grip and interchangeable backstraps for a customized hand fit. The frame of the PPQ features a short Picatinny rail section for mounting tactical lights or lasers. The slide is made from stainless steel with front/rear racking serrations and coated in Walther’s Tenifer™ coating to prevent corrosion.

The Walther PPQ M2 foregoes the European style paddle magazine release for an ambidextrous magazine release just behind the trigger guard—if the paddle magazine release is more your thing, the PPQ Classic (or M1) is still in production. The PPQ does not feature a manual safety on any model but does have two drop safeties and a firing pin block to give you piece of mind when carrying the PPQ. The Walther PPQ is considered to have one of the best factory triggers on the market. Walther refers to the PPQ’s trigger as the Quick Defense Trigger, it has an ultra-smooth 5.6 lb. pull with only .4” inches of travel and .1” trigger reset that allows for fast and accurate follow up shots.

There are now several models of the PPQ of varying sizes, calibers, and features ensuring that there’s a PPQ that will appeal to anyone looking for a striker-fired handgun.

Love the feel and fit of the Walther PPQ. Great gun. Considered Glock, Sig, HK, and S&W but only the HK had ergonomics and trigger close to PPQ. Got great deal on PPQ from Eurooptics so went with PPQ. Yeah the sights are not spectacular but for range use they are more than adequate. PPQ 5” is crazy accurate right out of box. It is also very light so banging away on the range does not kill your arms and wrists like my old 1911.
