This is a great, no nonsense LR hunting scope. Glass is clear, great field of view with fast focus and parallax adjustments. Yes it has a 1" tube and capped turrets, but once you find the exact mag adjustment for your load, then it puts hits on target. I have the Z800 on a 260 rem, with Prime ammo i can hit 8" steel from 400 -800Y just using the drops. Over and over. I have several high end scopes, this one is no compromise. Perfect for hunting Antelope on the prairie or when you have to reach out in the bean field that mature buck.
