Purchased a pair of these to replace my Vortex Razor HD 8x42's. These binoculars had an extreme rolling ball effect while glassing for game. Center of the binoculars was extremely crisp (like my Razor HD's), but was soft on the edges. I had previously studied weeks prior to the purchase and fell in love with the idea that Zeiss had a special Schott glass for these that other manufacturers had not received. I returned my purchase and am staying with the Vortex for the time being. I recommend you try these out in purchase if you are set on purchasing them, as the Swarovski SLC, Meopta Meostar, Vortex Razor HD and Leica Ultravids outperform this pair.
