The Zeiss 2.5-10x50 T* Riflescope is notably light-weight, with a crisp wide field of view. This is an excellent all-purpose scope with excellent twilight performance. The 30mm main tube construction of this scope is rugged, reliable and provides a generous amount of windage and elevation adjustment. This Varipoint scope offers a moderate level of magnification, which is always helpful if you need to leave a wooded area to execute a longer range shot. The very efficient 50mm objective lens will deliver a super bright sight picture, even in low light. Sight acquisition is simple and deadly under any lighting conditions with the illuminated number 66 reticle. Three medium non-tapered posts and cross hairs offer a clean sight picture for general shooting purposes. When your light isn’t quite right, the illuminated cross hairs in the center provide the necessary advantage for a clean shot that you might otherwise have to pass on. To use a riflescope with your firearm, you’ll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable, accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith’s skills will be needed for proper installation.
