The PVS-7 NL1 are combat-proven night vision goggles that offer the renowned level of performance all AMG products are known for. They can be mounted to the user’s head or a helmet for hands free operation and can be used with a firearm’s iron sights, or a daytime optic with night vision compatibility. The heart of the PVS-7 is a Gen 2 IIT NL1 – an image intensifier tube that delivers the highest, cleanest resolution offered by AGM and feature practically zero spots in zone 1. Image quality is further enhanced thanks to the Automatic Brightness Control (ABC), which adjusts the image brightness in changing light conditions to maintain superior image definition and clarity. For applications involving moonless/starless nights or in environments of extreme darkness, the PVS-7 features in integrated IR illuminator to provide a light source beyond the visible spectrum and allow the user to operate undetected. Other features of the PVS-7 include an automatic bright-light shut off, which protects the photosensitive image tube from damaging intense light. The PVS-7 also utilizes a flip-up shutoff function that deactivates the unit when the goggles are lifted from the user’s eyes to preserve battery life when not in use.
