The core of the Wolf-7 is a Gen 2+ NW1 IIT – an image intensifier tube with high resolution and clean image quality with practically zero spots in zone 1. The Wolf-7’s low light imaging capabilities are further enhanced thanks to a built-in IR illuminator which is ideal for short-range tasks such as reading maps, but this can be upgraded with high-powered IR illuminators for long-range use.
