Scope is very nice for the price. very positive clicks on the turrets, the side focus works well. Glass is clear at full magnification. This is mounted on my smallbore Fclass rig.

Athlon Argos BTR 10-40X56mm.
The glass is decent for the price. Do not expect crystal clear. The parallax gets it close. Using it on a Bergara B14R 22lr for 150 yard Zero at 40X. I do like the reticle on this scope since it does not cover a lot of real-estate on the target. Would buy again. Only "con" is that the layout makes it hard to get the scope situated further back enough to get a normal stock to scope relationship. You need to creep up on the stock to get the eye box right.

Surprisingly clear scope for the money. Looking for a lower cost option at 40x for old eyes doing load development on the bench. Sharp clicks, great tracking. Shipping was free and fast! Win win for me.

Optic is pretty much what I wanted. I put it on my Savage 110 Precision 338 Lapua Magnum. Not sure if it’s because it’s a benchrest scope or what but the eye piece is 2 inches from my eye. I had to buy a Cantilever Scope Mount for it and turn it backwards just to be able to see through the eye piece. It brushes my eyebrows every time I shoot it so I’ve gotta be careful or it could be a bad day for me. Clarity at 40 magnification is outstanding as it is at 10. Looked at the moon through it the other night and man was I impressed. Only problem is the eye relief being way to close. maybe this scope is meant to be on a .224 and smaller. If so I can’t find anything saying it’s for small calibers.

I purchased this scope for competative shooting after a fellow competitor introduced me to his. The glass is as clear as that in scopes costing twice as much. The workmanship is absolutely superb. If you are looking for a great scope for competative shooting at half the price of a comparable model of another brand, you should definitely consider this Athlon Argos BTR GEN2 10-40x56. You will be twice as happy and spend half as much.

Great scope for Bench Rest and have had the chance to look through and talk to many ARA factory shooters that have them now and they all said the same thing, hands down best scope out there even at a third of the cost of the higher priced brands. I have it mounted on my Brocock Sniper XR .177 FT rifle for this winter BR matches and had it sighted in in 3 shots, great super bright and clear optics along with the fine center dot reticle and precise turret adjustments, just wish it had come with an illuminated reticle like the 6/24X Argos BTR I have 3 of those and love them also, that way this scope would stay on the gun for all my shooting needs. The new Gen II model focuses down to 10 yds and has a 16x on the power ring

How can this scope be priced as low as it is?! I've mounted it on my 6mm BR F-class and I couldn't be happier. Many fellow shooters use Nightforce scopes and they cannot believe the quality of my Athlon!
