I bought this right before deer season to help me see when deer are around as I enter and exit my stands and to keep an eye on bears when I get down from bear stands. It works great. Excellent clarity. Great battery life. My only complaint is that the eyecup isn’t entirely glasses wearer friendly, but it doesn’t detract significantly from the effectiveness of this thermal. And at this price, it’s a steal
