The 457 Premium could be considered a modern classic, combining elegance with utility. This European style rimfire is outfitted with a hogback, Monte Carlo style stock made from high-quality Turkish walnut and includes a decorative fore-end tip with schnabel. The stock’s grip is large and fits comfortably in the shooter’s hand, and a higher cheek rest is included for more comfortable shooting. The 457 Premium’s 24.8” cold hammer forged barrel features 1/2x28” threading for suppressor use, and is fitted with an adjustable tangent rear sight and a fiber optic front sight. The 457 Premium’s bolt features a 60-degree throw, this was chosen to increase scope compatibility especially on scopes with a larger ocular bell and lower ring heights. Under the recommendation of US Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches, the 457 Premium is outfitted with an American-style push-to-fire safety – a configuration that American shooters are more accustom to. In addition, the 457 Premium features a fully adjustable trigger, and an 11mm dovetail for installing optics.
