An issue that AK users often face is a lack of a reliable suppressor; Dead Air Silencers addresses this issue with the introduction of the Wolverine PBS-1. This can was specifically designed for the Kalashnikov platform, and offers excellent sound reduction and minimal backpressure. The Wolverine employs a unique indexing system inside the collar that engages the spring loaded pins on the rifle’s front sight block – this configuration allows the can to be mounted as flush as possible to the rifle and prevents loosening under prolonged firing. Similar to Dead Air’s Sandman suppressors, the Wolverine utilizes a detachable front cap. Not only does this allow the user to quickly and easily change out the front cap, but it also allows the user to repair the can in the event of a baffle strike or a drop without having to return the suppressor to the factory.
