Description

FN America’s FN 509 Tactical is an upgraded version of FN America’s popular FN 509 semi-automatic striker fired handgun. The FN 509 Tactical adds several features to the all-ready feature rich FN 509 series. Most notably the fact that it is compatible with and ships with two 24 round magazines (and one 17 round magazine). The FN 509 Tactical also features a threaded barrel (1/2"x28 tpi) making it ready for a suppressor or compensator right out the box, additionally these handguns come standard with suppressor height night sights. The FN 509 is the first of FN America’s handguns to use the patented FN Optics Mounting System, allowing you easily attach a wide variety of low profile reflex sights to the FN 509 Tactical.

FN Optic Mounting System is compatible with: Trijicon RMR, Leupold Deltapoint Pro, Vortex Razor, Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Burris Fastfire II/III, Doctor Optic, CMore STS II, and more!

FN 509 Tactical is the best pistol I have ever used! Building on FN’s American heritage the new 509 can’t be beat. The lighter slide and perfect ergonomics, night sightes, and 24 rd mags make this the best pistol in the world in my opinion.

I think the 509 is one of the best 9mm on the market right now. I bought one the first month it came out. I was not disappointed. I own all the FN pistols except for the FiveseveN. I think the FNS is a great pistol in its price range. However, it doesn't hold a candle to the 509. I was so impressed by the overall quality of the 509, I haven't seen another brand on the market that compares to the 509 in accuracy, reliability, and fit and finish. I just ordered a 509 Midsize and am patiently waiting for it to come in. Now that FN makes the 509 Tactical in black, I will be ordering a black 509T slide for my midsize.
