Fantastic ranging device! I would put a check in the "superior" box of every function for the BR2500 except 3. 1st and foremost, the display for range and reticle in bright daylight is invisible. If you laze and then cover the bottom of the lens with your hand you can read the solution/range. In shade, evening or morning, no problems. Green display or a dark blocked background would also suffice (hint Gunwerks). In fairness, virtually all rangefinders lack in this department. 2. The up down toggle buttons are hard to feel and very difficult with a gloved hand. 3. The eye piece should be stiffer so that when you put the device to your face, it will remain at the depth you set it. Still, all in all, this will be in my bag on every outing. Its amazing! I can learn to live with these little things; however, the display light really needs attention. I
