To address this issue, Hornady created the Heat-Shield, a polymer tip insert that doesn’t melt or deform mid-flight for outstanding long range accuracy and match-winning performance. Like all of Hornady’s premium ammunition, the ELD Match Cartridges are built with extremely tight tolerances and strict quality control.
