The Proton FXQ30 Thermal Imaging Attachment delivers unmatched thermal imaging versatility! This clip-on device can attach to a wide array of daytime optics including a riflescope, spotting scope, binoculars, or a Pulsar 5x30B monocular. Weighing in at a mere 370 grams, the Proton is light enough to be comfortably carried all day and won’t impact the balance of the daytime optic it’s installed on. The Proton can be mounted to the host optic in two ways: a quick-release PSP adapter mount and a PSP-V Weaver Rail mount. When using the PSP quick-release adapter, the Proton can be precisely aligned for optimal field of view. The PSP-V Weaver rail mount is designed for pairing with riflescopes and can be adjusted for alignment based on the riflescope’s objective lens diameter and mounting height. Other features of the Proton include a highly sensitive NETD 40mK thermal sensor. This ensures perfect detail recognition even in poor environmental conditions and when thermal contrast is low, such as in the rain, fog, or in the cold.
