I have owned several Tikka's in various calibers over the years and have loved them all. On my last one, I installed an after market trigger spring for about $12. The rifle shot as well as any of my other rifles that even had Jewel triggers. I decided to try this Sako because I wanted the laminated stock and the shorter overall length compared to the other 24 inch barrels in the Tikka synthetics. I hunt mostly from climbers and liked the maneuverability of the shorter guns. Wow. I thought the triggers on the Tikka's were something, but after adjusting the trigger pull on this gun, I was floored. It is so crisp, and zero creep. The fit and finish on this gun in incredible. The ability to have a flush magazine with the extra capacity is a plus. Yes, it is more expensive that the Tikka's but in my opinion, well worth the extra money for a lifetime investment. I am looking forward to reloading some ammo for it. I will be ready for next hunting season. Europtic has been a pleasure to deal with. Happy Hunting

With a laminated wood stock and stainless steel barrel and metal, this rifle looks and feels great! And, the barrel did not require break-in. After mounting a scope, I could hardly wait to get it sighted in. It was amazing. With one of my pet loads for the 6.5 Creedmoor, it was shooting a 3-shot group less that 0.6" at 100 yards. I am hunting with it, and waiting for the right buck. I only wish I had bought one earlier.
