My main interest was to find a device with "night vision" properties, that would not break the bank in price, yet presents a good level of night time viewing ability.
After watching several videos on-line that provided in-depth reviews of the "SiOnyx" Aurora, I decided to purchase the camera.
I placed the order with "EuroOptics" and they processed and shipped the camera in what can only be described as, "Super Quick" time.
The SiOnyx Aurora is definitely not a toy. It's light weight and ease of setup and operation with its various settings make it a great tool.
Its daytime and night viewing capability is outstanding in my opinion. I wear eyeglasses and the fact that I can adjust the "diopter" relief (electronically) is superb.
At this point, I have only viewed residential settings, but have found the night and day performance to be more than adequate for my interest. I can easily identify most objects at night at a minimum of 150 yards.
In my opinion, the SiOnyx Aurora provides a night vision capability equal to or slightly
better than "GEN 2" NV Optics.
All in all, I am pleased with the performance and the affordable price of the "SiOnyx Aurora".
