been very happy with this optic. owned the strike eagle 1-8 SFP, used the strike eagle 1-6. own the primary arms 1-8. this is a big upgrade over all those optics. better glass and i really value the FFP aspect! on my main competition AR I have a razor 1-10 gen3 while that is a better optic it is also ~3x the cost. when I first got into firearms and 3 gun I wish this optic existed.... but now that it does it sits on my AR10 and it a pleasure to use! great for any build. only thing I wished is that the illumination was as bright as the razor. but again ~3x the cost so I guess there has to be some tradeoff.
Would buy again and Euro optic shipping was awesome. great company from the few purchases I have made.

I'm not a big optics guy and don't have much of a point of reference. I've looked through high-end optics a few times, but I also know their price. To me this is a fine optic for the money. It's plenty bright on brightest setting for full-sun. The spring on the front cap broke off the first day I had it, but I'm not going to fault the optic for such a thing.

I waited a long time to get a good deal on a Strike Eagle 1-8x24 and it was worth the wait. FFP is definitely the way to go. On 1x it’s a red dot, 8x it’s a rifle scope. The rear lens flip cap doesn’t want to stay on all that well but other then that, it’s perfect.

Euro Optic shipped the scope out on 02/02, received it on 02/07, very speedy delivery. Scope looks great, glass is very clear. The only gripe so far is the rubber sleeves that cover the front and back lenses slide off the ends when trying to pop the spring covers open. I'm hoping it's due to the cold from shipping and will stick to the tube better when they warm up.

I have multiple LPVOs , Swampfox, Primary Arms etc. the glass and reticle on this FFP scope is amazing. I am switching to FFP optics from here on. Next I’m going for a PST for my 308 DMR rifle.

Excellent optic for the money. I've owned the Gen 3 1-10, Gen 2 1-6, and the viper pst 1-6 and the only negatives I can throw at this optic are that the illumination isn't as bright as the vipers or razors and it would have been nice to have had a 34mm tube. Otherwise, the performance value is excellent and features are similar to the Gen 3 1-10.

Completely satisfied with the SE 1-8x24 FFP. It replaced a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-12x40 which was a nice scope but as I learned not what I wanted on my AR-10. The 1-8 has very good glass- all stop. It is clear throughout the range of magnification. The illuminated reticle is nice, even if it is a bit intense at the highest setting. I put it through its paces last weekend. Zero was a breeze. Key holes my final 3 shots dead center . The turrets are tactile, but don’t expect them to be Razor tactile. I had no issues making adjustments with shooters banging away on my left and right. I can’t wait to get to a range to test out the BDC. This is a nice scope & glad I bought it!

This is my first lpvo, I only ever had red dots. Vortex makes quality and the lifetime warranty is a plus. Crystal clear glass and it's an 8 power. I have it mounted on a Colt 14.5 with a badger ordnance 1.7 mount. Eurooptics shipped this scope out the next day. All around awesome experience.

Glass on 1x is really nice. 8x is ok but not the clearest at least for me. I do have to wear glasses so take that as you will. But over all it's a really nice scope!
