Euro- optic was awesome on this transaction I had purchased this scope for F-class and had originally purchased it through a large online entity from a third party vendor and it never arrived. After much painstaking debate with the other entity over my refund I realized that my next match was in five days so having previously done business with Euro-optic I decided to purchase the scope through them prior to my refund from the other folks. Because of the items cost it would require a live signature upon delivery so I elected to have it shipped to my office and received an email saying that they couldn't do that because the delivery address differed from my billing address (keep in mind this is on Sunday afternoon) I called Euro-optic and much to my surprise a live person answered the phone. Upon explaining my situation and the limited time before my match these guys got my scope out the door and delivered in time for me to mount it and zero with time to spare so from a customer service perspective I am really impressed.
As far as the performance of the scope it is off of the chart for clarity even at its highest magnification, turret tracking is crisp and precise. In short I would recommend this product to any PLR marksman with confidence and I will do business with Euro-optic from now on.

I have found the G.E. to be the sharpest scope I've ever tried, including NightForce comps. (my other rifle scope is a Razor Gen 1). I've only used the highest powers of the G.E. on very calm days (before the mirage picks up), using up to 30-35x for most of my shooting. But I find that the G.E. is better than my Vortex Viper 20-60x80 spotting scope at seeing bullet holes. I like the ECR-1 reticle better than the simple crosshair SCR-1, using it to hold off in gusting crosswinds. The crosshairs are fine enough to not obscure the target at distance, but heavy enough to pick up easily. The clarity wasn't affected by power, always excellent. Weight is a non-event, particularly on my 30" heavy barreled 7mm RSAUM. I'd have no problem buying this again - assuming you can find one in stock! And kudos to Vortex for their service and support!

I put one on a Shilen 300 WM. Yesterday, it shot within one inch of the setting defined by the ballistic calculator at 500 yards and produced a five round 2" group. The ECR reticle is essential. A very good target dot. For the money, it seriously out performs my SB, Swar and NF scopes.

This is my second Vortex scope. Moved up from the Vortex 6x24 PST 1st Focal Plane. Like the 2nd Focal Plane better. The reticle is ultra crisp. The scope is a pleasure to use at the 200 - 400 yard range. The study turrets are a great improvement, especially the large demarcations. I would recommend this scope.

I love the clarity. Not completely satisfied with the reticle, very thin. I have it mounted in Burris signature rings with 20MOA cant MISTAKE not enough turret travel. Moved to 200yds and was able to get it on paper, decided to quit of the day and zero or reduce the amount of cant.

At 40 power I was able to see 30 cal bullet holes on butcher paper at 675 yards before mirage picked up. Could clearly see 6.5 creedmoor hits at 675 yards on steel all day. Clocks are a little mushy but overall the scope tracked well and was plenty clear enough. The target dot on the reticle is by far the best ai have ever used. I have since bought another for another rifle I have.

Excellent long range competition optic at known distances (and ECR-1 provides some ability to estimate distance @ 40x).Studied many other products before making this purchase and I am not disappointed. ECR-1 is an excellent choice, the floating dot allows precision placement on target. The turrets provide crisp, concise adjustments and numbers easily read from the prone; very accurate tracking - spot on returns (perfect “square” when zeroing). Ample eye relief, excellent light transmission and clarity. Note that this is a competition optic and therefore does not have an illuminated reticle - can’t see a need for one during competition (unless one is shooting at dusk or extremely dark days). I have other Vortex products so I know their service, if ever needed, will be exceptional. Recommend getting Vortex’s SV-2 throw lever for quick power adjustments. EuroOptic provided exceptional service support, excellent pricing, and fast shipping. Very happy with my purchase.

Purchased this scope to put on my Remington Sendero 300 Win Mag. LaRue QD 20 MOA base. Blackline Precision muzzle brake. This package is GOLD!!!
This Golden Eagle compares nicely to the other "long range" scope I have: Leupold VX 6, 7-42x56mm. Love the ECR-1 reticle. I need to do a more in-depth comparison, but the clarity seems comparable. At 700 yards the steel plate gong practically filled the objective. At 1000 yards it filled half! I had NO problem seeing the target and where we were hitting. At that distance, I was back on target to literally watch where the bullets were hitting. These optics are far superior to the budget spotting scope I was using previously.
Again, these are first impressions, but I don't recall any degradation in clarity at the top-end of the magnification range, unlike cheaper scopes I own.
Would I recommend it? Would I buy it again? ABSO-DAMN-LUTELY!
Lastly, EuroOptics and Vortex provided amazing service and pricing for this First Responder.
