AMG Global Vision delivers the ultimate long-range nighttime observation device with the FoxBat-8 3AL1 Night Vision Bi-Ocular. It comes equipped with a Gen 3 level 1 Green Phosphor IIT – an image intensifier tube that delivers significantly greater image quality, sharpness, and clarity when compared to the Gen 2 models. Image quality is further enhanced thanks to multi-coated, all glass optics as well as an auto-gated feature, which helps maintain a clear visual while under infrequent and sudden changes in light. The FoxBat-8 also utilizes dual eye pieces to reduce eye strain and comes with a tripod to reduce fatigue – both of which are ideal for long viewing sessions. The combination of an advanced Gen 3 image-intensifier tube with an auto-gating function, all glass multi-coated optics, and extended viewing augmentations makes the FoxBat-8 perfect for applications such as hunting, nighttime nature observation, home security, and even scientific projects. For uses involving moonless/starless nights or in environments of extreme darkness, the FoxBat-8 features a detachable long-range IR illuminator to provide a light source beyond the visible spectrum and allow the user to operate undetected. Other features of the FoxBat-8 include a bright light automatic shutoff, which protects the photosensitive image intensifier tube from damaging over exposer. In addition, the FoxBat-8 is powered by two commonly available AA batteries and has a run time of 40 hours.
