The FSB50-640 Explorator Handheld Thermal & Optical Bi-spectrum Binoculars by AGM Global Vision delivers unmatched nighttime observation! The come equipped with a 1/3” Progressive Scan CMOS ultra-low light optical detector and a 640×512 17 μm thermal detector. This combination of visible light amplification and heat detection allows the user to quickly detect targets in extreme environments including rain, snow, fog, and smoke. Targets are displayed on a 1024x768 OLED monitor, and are viewable in multiple palettes: white hot, black hot, visible, and fusion B/W. White hot displays sources of heat as white silhouettes over a predominantly black background, while black hot shows sources of heat as black silhouettes over a predominantly white background. Visible amplifies visible light, and fusion B/W combines thermal imaging with light amplification and displays the image as black and white. The FSB50-640 Explorator also has modes optimized for certain environments including cities, jungles, deserts, seas, and snowy environments. The FSB50-640 Explorator is powered by four 18650 rechargeable lithium batteries which provides a 7 hour runtime. To conserve power, the FSB50-640 Explorator is outfitted with proximity sensors which activate the display when the binoculars are brought up to the user’s eyes, and deactivates the display when the binoculars are put down. Other features of the FSB50-640 Explorator include onboard image and video recording and 32GB of internal memory, and an IP67 waterproof rating for operations in challenging weather conditions.
