This long wave infrared, uncooled, thermal imaging weapon sight combines easy to use, ergonomic controls with the latest in thermal imaging technology. Its waterproof aluminum housing and heavy recoil tolerance allows the Python to stand up to the worst environmental conditions and extreme field use. The Python comes equipped with a FLIR Tau 2 17μm Uncooled Microbolometer that can detect a man-sized source of heat at a range of up to 1400 meters. The Python projects the thermal image on a 800 x 600-resolution monitor, and allows the user to view the image in multiple imaging palettes. In addition to multiple imaging palettes, the Python also features five reticles to choose from: a 4 MOA dot, a dot with horizontal lines, a cross, a cross with a center dot, and a standard crosshair. Other features of the TS75-640 Python include a quick-detach mount, allowing it to be easily attached to the host weapon, and a separate remote control enables the user to activate the sight without taking their eyes off the target.
