The Air Vane was developed between Bohning and world-class archers Pierre-Julien Deloche and Dominique Genet who wanted the same low-profile as the Ice Vane but with an X-Vane inspired tail. In summer of 2015, the prototype was created and sent to Genet and Deloche and was met with resounding success.

The Air Vane itself is engineered for smaller diameter arrows shot from long distances, and has quickly become one of Bohning’s best sellers. The Air Vane is equally compatible to compound and recurve shooters alike as its low profile minimizes contact with the arrow rest, and its small surface area reduces the effects of crosswind drift. The Air Vane is a perfect choice for shooting 3D with smaller diameter arrows, and like all of Bohning’s premium arrows, the Air Vane is made in Lake City, Michigan, U.S.A.
