Packed with features placing it on par with rifle platforms costing much more, Cadex' Sheepdog & Shepherd series of rifles is worthy of consideration for any tactical or competition application. Essentially, these are factory-produced, custom-quality rifles. With rifles such as these entering the market, no longer will "factory-produced rifle" necessarily be an unsavory notion.

At the heart of this series is Cadex' push-feed action, featuring a Rem 700 footprint. Unique to this action is a four-lug bolt, which has a 50° throw and enables faster cycling potential relative to bolts with longer throw length. Additional features common to this series of rifles are listed below.

The barreled action is mounted in Cadex' Strike Nuke micro-chassis, which combines ergonomics common to traditional stocks with the innovation of chassis systems. The interior of this stock features a built-in aluminum micro-chassis, alleviating the need to bed the action. It is fully-adjustable for length of pull, cheek piece height, and recoil pad height.

The Sheepdog is featured in calibers .260 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5x47 Lapua, and .308 Winchester, and the Shepherd in calibers .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 Norma Magnum, and .338 Lapua Magnum.
