The Colt M5 Braced AR-15 Pistol is a semi-automatic AR-platform handgun chambered in 5.56mm NATO, leveraging Colt's advanced, fully ambidextrous architecture in a highly compact tactical footprint. This large-format pistol incorporates an 11.5-inch chrome moly vanadium free-floating barrel with a 1:7" right-hand twist rate and a standard flash hider, built onto redesigned forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers finished in a matte black Type III hardcoat anodizing. Operating on a reliable carbine-length direct gas impingement system, it is engineered for absolute adaptability with full ambidextrous controls—including dual-sided magazine catches, bolt releases, and safety selectors. The ergonomic, ready-to-run layout is rounded out by a 1-piece aluminum free-floating M-LOK handguard featuring a continuous Picatinny top rail, premium folding low-profile adjustable sights, an enhanced anti-torsion rail design, and a mil-spec trigger.
