Description
From plinking targets to small game hunting, the 457 American by CZ USA reigns supreme. This high-performance rimfire is designed for use with a scope, and includes an 11mm optics rail. The 457 American’s bolt features a 60-degree throw, this was chosen to increase scope compatibility especially on scopes with a larger ocular bell and lower ring heights. Under the recommendation of US Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches, the 457 American is outfitted with an American-style push-to-fire safety – a configuration that American shooters are more accustom to. In addition, the 457 American’s action was shortened by nearly an inch to reduce the footprint and weight.
