Geissele 15" M-LOK MK8 Black Super Modular Rail 05-286B was one of the first Geissele rails built around M-LOK back when that mounting standard was still new, and it's stuck around because the fundamentals were right from the start.

Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and Type III hardcoat anodized, this Geissele Super Modular Rail MK8 locks to the receiver with Geissele's proprietary 2.25" barrel nut - longer than a standard nut, which means more surface contact with the receiver and a rail that stays straight and true even after you've pulled it off for maintenance and put it back on. M-LOK slots run at 1, 3, 6, 9, and 11 o'clock, giving you real flexibility on where lights, grips, and bipods actually go instead of fighting a fixed layout.

The lower 45° quadrants are vented pretty heavily, which cuts weight and helps a hot barrel shed heat faster. All told this Geissele MK8 Rail comes in around 12.4 ounces bare, 14.3 with the barrel nut - genuinely light for a 15" tube.
