Geissele Freedom Rifle GFR Stratomatch MOD1 6mm ARC 20" DDC Rifle 08-650S is the precision end of the GFR lineup — built when the priority shifts from maneuverability to wringing every bit of accuracy out of 6mm ARC.

This Geissele GFR runs a 20" cut-rifled barrel with a 5R profile and 1-7.5 twist, hand-machined from 416R stainless rather than the cold hammer forged steel found on the standard Recce variants — a deliberate tradeoff precision shooters make for tighter, more repeatable groups. A Geissele Strato Gas Block paired with the Phased Array® gas system and Tri-Port™ metering keeps recoil impulse low on a rifle-length +1 gas system, while the Swavvy muzzle brake out front handles what's left of the muzzle rise, useful when tracking impact through a scope instead of reacquiring a red dot.

Full ambidextrous controls carry over from the rest of the GFR line — a left-side magazine release below the Maritime Bolt Catch and dust-cover-actuated bolt catch/release on the right — and the 16.5" MK18 rail with Geissele's Center Tab mating gives this GFR Stratomatch build a longer, more rigid mounting platform than the standard Recce configuration. The Magpul PRS Lite stock adds the length-of-pull and comb-height adjustability precision shooters actually rely on.
