Geissele GFR MOD1 Stratomatch 6mm ARC 18" Black Rifle 08-651B sits between the Recce configuration and the full 20" Stratomatch — enough barrel to get real precision out of 6mm ARC, without the extra length and weight of the long-range build.

This Geissele GFR MOD1 6mm ARC 18 runs a cut-rifled 18" barrel, hand-machined from 416R stainless with a 5R profile and 1-7.5 twist — a different manufacturing approach than Geissele's cold hammer forged barrels, chosen here because cut rifling holds tighter tolerances for match-grade accuracy. A Geissele Strato Gas Block pairs with the Phased Array® gas system and Tri-Port™ metering on a rifle-length +1 gas system, and a Swavvy muzzle brake keeps muzzle rise controlled shot to shot.

Full ambidextrous controls run through the platform — left-side magazine release below the Maritime Bolt Catch, dust-cover-actuated bolt catch/release on the right — the same intuitive layout across every GFR variant. Inside, the Nanoweapon®-coated Reliability Enhanced BCG runs a forged Carpenter 158+ bolt, and the Magpul PRS Lite stock gives this 6mm ARC rifle the length-of-pull and comb-height adjustment precision shooters actually use.
