The Geissele Super Duty MOD 1 5.56 NATO 11.5" 08-522B takes everything that made the original Super Duty series popular and pushes it further. This isn't a rebrand with a new name slapped on — it's a genuine step up, starting with a precision machined, cold hammer forged barrel finished in manganese phosphate with a chrome lining, built to shrug off heat and corrosion over years of hard use. An HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 caps the muzzle, suppressor-ready from the start.

The real standout on this Geissele Super Duty SBR is Geissele's own Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. It's Nanoweapon coated, with a properly staked and torqued gas key lined in chrome, and a cam pin machined from H13 tool steel with its own Nanoweapon coating for corrosion resistance. The Stressproof Bolt inside is precision machined from Carpenter 158+ barstock — cleaner material with fewer impurities, which translates directly into more strength and better fatigue resistance over the life of the rifle. Extended upper rails add stability and help keep feeding reliable, even under hard use.

Up top, the two-stage SSA-E X Lightning Bow trigger splits the difference between a classic M4 trigger and a flat-body trigger, giving a smooth, light first-stage take-up followed by a crisp second-stage break. The Super Duty Lower is machined from premium 7075-T6 aluminum and comes with Geissele's Ultra Duty Lower Parts Kit, including an ambidextrous configurable safety. An updated MK16 Super Modular Rail mates tightly to the upper receiver to eliminate rotation, running the full length of the receiver and fore-grip for mounting optics, night vision, or thermal devices. A B5 Systems Enhanced Sopmed Stock and Airborne Charging Handle round out this 11.5 Geissele Super Duty build.
