It ships as a genuinely complete assembly, BCG, charging handle, and muzzle device all installed, so a compatible lower is close to the last piece needed to finish it.
The 16" barrel is cold hammer forged with a 1:7 twist, chrome lined for extended barrel life and corrosion resistance, and finished in Geissele's own profile for a balanced blend of weight and strength. It's topped with a Nanoweapon-coated HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 muzzle device, suppressor-ready without needing any separate mount. Geissele's proprietary Geissele-Length gas system, tuned specifically for this full 16" configuration, keeps cycling smooth and consistent shot after shot.
Cycling itself runs through Geissele's Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group, Nanoweapon coated with a chrome-lined gas key for smooth, reliable operation and long-term durability. A 15" MK16 Super Modular Rail mates to this Geissele Complete upper 16 through Geissele's center aligning tab, offering extensive M-LOK real estate for accessory mounting without any risk of rotation. The Airborne Charging Handle rounds out the build with improved ergonomics under demanding conditions.
