The Geissele Super Dynamic Enhanced (SD-E) Trigger 05-167 takes the same pull characteristics that made the SSA-E a favorite among precision shooters and swaps the curved bow for a flat one. First stage sits at 2.3 lbs, second stage at 1.2 lbs, total pull weight lands at 3.5 lbs. Light and predictable, but not so light it feels unsafe on a hunting rifle or anything else that leaves the bench.
Here's the thing about that flat bow, though. It's not just a look. It sits about 0.141" forward of a standard curved trigger, which shifts where your finger naturally lands and keeps it there, rep after rep, whether you're pressing straight back off a bag or working the trigger fast mid-stage. Pull straight to the rear instead of the slight arc a curved bow gives you, and most shooters notice the difference the second they switch over. A lot of them don't go back.
Same chassis lineage as Geissele's combat-proven two-stage triggers sits underneath all this, so you still get that smooth, light take-up on the first stage and a clean, crisp break on the second. Geissele just recalibrated it around the flat bow instead of the standard curve. It's non-adjustable, on purpose, so the pull stays exactly where it was tuned instead of creeping over time or varying install to install.
Hunting, punching paper at distance, running a match, doesn't matter much. This drops into most mil-spec AR-15 and AR-10 lowers and brings the same control Geissele's whole trigger lineup is known for.
