Geissele Super Precision 34mm Desert Dirt Scope Mount 05-417S is optimized for use with an AR-15/M4 upper. The mounting surface spans 7 Picatinny sections and utilizes 4 shear lugs.

This AR-15/M4 upper-compatible mount uses Geissele's update of the classic nut-and-bolt method for clamping to the Picatinny rail. That's the most secure method of attaching a scope to a weapon, and each nut-and-bolt combination provides 1,400 pounds of clamping force. That's far more than any lever mounting arrangement can deliver.

This Geissele Super Precision Scope Mount is machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum to create the best possible return to zero. That single-piece construction lets Geissele add pockets and ribs throughout for added strength and rigidity, and it allows the caps to be line-bored to each other before being serialized to the body. The line-bore operation creates the best possible fit to the scope's tube, so proper torque can be applied without crushing or damaging it.
