Geissele Super Precision Aimpoint PRO 30mm Black Mount 05-625B skips the quick-detach lever most red dot mounts rely on, and that's deliberate - a lever mechanism introduces exactly the kind of play that undermines return-to-zero under hard use.

Machined from a single billet of 7075-T6 aluminum, this Geissele Super Precision mount for Aimpoint PRO clamps to the rail using Geissele's updated take on the classic nut-and-bolt method, generating around 1,400 pounds of clamping force through 3 shear lugs. That's a lot of holding power for a mount this size, and it's why these mounts have a reputation for staying zeroed through drops and recoil that would work a lever-based mount loose over time.

Sitting at a 1.54" centerline height from the top of the Picatinny rail, this Black mount positions the Aimpoint PRO at a height most shooters find comfortable for a standard cheek weld without needing a raised stock riser. Type III hardcoat anodizing in black rounds out the finish, with the same mount also available in Geissele's proprietary DDC finish for earth-tone builds.
