This CompM5s mount uses Geissele's update of the classic nut-and-bolt method, attaching a red dot to a weapon with 1,400 pounds of clamping force. It features 3 shear lugs for maximum rigidity and a superior return to zero, so removing and reinstalling the optic doesn't mean re-zeroing from scratch every time.

At 2.5 ounces and a 1.93" mounting height, this Geissele optic mount puts the CompM5s at absolute co-witness height with standard AR-15 iron sights, which is the configuration most duty and defensive builds actually want.
